We've been having some technical difficulties with the blog for the past couple of weeks, but now our crack team of web programmers has solved them, so things should be able to continue normally. My plan is to continue to keep you apprised of developments with the NLT Study Bible, and with "NLT study" as a general topic. For example, coming up soon I plan to discuss the NLT Study Series, an innovating and exciting series of Bible studies that we are publishing, beginning this fall with Genesis, John, James, and Romans.
I also will continue to interact with content in the NLT Study Bible, issues of translation, and studying with the NLT. Looking forward to it!
But let me ask you: What other kinds of topics would you like to see addressed on this blog?

Hi there,
I had emailed someone at Tyndale a few days ago with this question but I figured I would just post it here now.
I recently purchased both a hard copy of the NLT and a NLT module for e-sword.
I am currently using a free trial of the NLT study Bible online and am enjoying it very much. I was wondering if there are any plans to allow one to purchase access to the online NLT study Bible without having to buy a hard copy of the study Bible? I don't really want a hard copy. I would be more than happy to purchase permanent online access. Crossway publishing is doing this with the ESV-SB.
Thanks for your time,
Tom G
Hi, Tom G. Glad to hear that you're enjoying the online access. Currently we have no definite plans to offer the NLTSB online for purchase separately from the printed Bible, although we are currently exploring and discussing it.
Hi Sean,
Thanks for letting me know. If you do decide to make the NLTSB-online edition available for separate purchase I will definitely be early in line to purchase that privilige.
Thanks,
Tom G
Hi
I clicked on Messianic Hope from Articles. I've trid to get back to the Articles list but, Messianic Hope returns. How do I get back to the list under Articles please? Just online today for the first time.
Thanks
DQ
@anonymous: When you're viewing an article, there's a link above the title that reads "<< back to articles table of contents". Clicking that should get you back to the list.
I joined the free trial of the NLT study, but after a few days I came across the hard copy in Borders Bookstore, Singapore, and I saw that I could join the Online study if I bought the book. I did so, but when I tried to register with the same name as the one I used in the free trial, the computer rejected it, so I had to use another name, and another email. Why could I not use the same name, I wonder....
Hi Sean
Is there any possibility of the availability of comments by well-known Bible teachers on topics like Salvation, the Holy Spirit's work nowadays, etc?
Thanks for your time,
Janethe
Hi, Janethe. I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean on the blog, or in a Study Bible?
@Anonymous: I heard back from the web team. When you are logged into your trial account, there's a link at the top of the screen to upgrade your access. Likewise, if you try to login with an expired trial, you'll get a link to upgrade. Each access code can only be used once, and there's no way to change which email a particular account uses, so at this point you'll want to stick with the account you've registered.
Hi Sean
Yes, I discovered that only later, when I went into the Access page.
I like the idea of showing how the NLT Study Bible (and the NLT!) is good for study. I encounter many people who think that the NLT is one of the worst Bibles for study so anything that demonstrates the falsity of that claim would be appreciated!
